Role Overview
Lead end-to-end commercial fleet deployment, vehicle uptime, maintenance scheduling, and hub manager performance across South India.
UrbanDrive is looking for an experienced Senior Fleet Operations Manager to oversee our fast-growing vehicle fleet operations. In this role, you will manage city hub operations, ensure maximum vehicle uptime, optimize driver vehicle handover processes, and maintain strict SLAs for vehicle safety and performance.
You will work closely with the leadership team, telematics engineering team, and city operations heads to scale fleet density efficiently while lowering operational turnaround time.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily vehicle rollout, shift handovers, and hub maintenance logistics
Implement predictive vehicle servicing workflows to ensure >96% fleet availability
Lead a team of 15+ Hub Supervisors, telematics technicians, and onboarding executives
Analyze real-time GPS telemetry data, mileage efficiency, and battery/fuel consumption
Manage third-party vendor relationships for authorized maintenance garages and parts procurement
Drive compliance with statutory transport norms, commercial permits, and road safety regulations
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business
4+ years of proven operational experience in ride-hailing, mobility, logistics, or fleet companies
Demonstrated experience handling large vehicle fleets (500+ commercial vehicles)
Strong proficiency in Excel, operations dashboards, and telematics telemetry platforms
Exceptional leadership, conflict resolution, and on-ground stakeholder management skills
